About the artist.

Becca Hallstedt is a concept & texture artist residing in Chicago, IL. She has worked at Netherrealm Studios on Injustice 2, at High Voltage Software on Dragon Front and Damaged Core, and on a slew of smaller projects. She currently is freelancing a mix of stylized weapon, creature, and environment designs for multiple indie games.

After studying for 3 semesters at University of Cincinnati’s globally-ranked Industrial Design program, Becca transferred to Columbia College Chicago. She plans to graduate in Spring 2017 with her Bachelor's degree in Game Art and spends as much time as possible volunteering and participating in local indie events. She loves nothing more than to immerse herself in the city and game dev community to further and diversify her experience as a developer.

Make no little plans; they have no magic to stir men’s blood and probably themselves will not be realized. Make big plans; aim high in hope and work, remembering that a noble, logical diagram once recorded will never die, but long after we are gone be a living thing, asserting itself with ever-growing insistency.
